Post-Marital Sweet Love: The Pure White Little Rabbit
One month after the wedding.
For the past few days, Qin Yichi had been plagued by nightmares. He dreamt of Qiao Zhen falling in love with Ji Xian, while he could only watch helplessly from afar. He dreamt of Qiao Zhen giving a scarf to Ji Xian, followed by the mocking laughter of Ji Xian’s friends. He even dreamt of crashing his car and of Qiao Zhen failing to remember him at all.
Qin Yichi jolted awake, his eyes snapping open as fine beads of sweat trickled down his forehead. He felt as though he had been cast into a dark, bottomless abyss, with countless waves crashing over his nose and mouth. He was paralyzed, unable to move or utter a single word, consumed by a painful sense of helplessness. A visceral ache permeated his internal organs, and every cell in his body throbbed with a bitter, suffocating intensity. The dream had been simply too real.
The room was silent. Relying on instinct, Qin Yichi reached into the nightstand, retrieved their red marriage certificate, and tucked it beneath his pillow. It served as a talisman of sorts, bringing him a measure of peace. Once done, he pulled the soundly sleeping Qiao Zhen into his arms, burying his face in the crook of her neck and clinging to her fingers with a desperate dependency.
Cuddling with his wife...
In the early hours, Qiao Zhen was awakened by the heat. She stirred, dazed, rubbing her eyes. She was drenched in sweat, feeling as if she were buried under a thick, heavy blanket. That scoundrel Qin Yichi—he must have sneaked her into his arms while she was asleep again.
Qiao Zhen shifted quietly, inching away from him. Qin Yichi’s body was simply too hot, like a blazing furnace; she felt as if she would spontaneously combust the moment she touched him. She hadn't moved far before the man’s breathing grew ragged. His brows furrowed, and his eyelashes trembled. He looked deeply unsettled.
Qiao Zhen paused, about to comfort him, when Qin Yichi’s fragmented, dream-induced muttering broke the silence:
"Qiao Xiaozhen, you’re an idiot..."
At these words, Qiao Zhen’s eyes widened in disbelief, and she bolted upright. No way. Sleeping was one thing, but why resort to personal attacks? This terrible husband—she didn't want him anymore! She’d toss him into the trash can tomorrow; whoever wanted him could have him! Qiao Zhen huffed, silently nursing a grudge.
Yet, Qin Yichi’s expression grew even more distressed, as if he were enduring immense pain. His voice was low, hoarse, and trembling:
"Qiao Zhen, you’re not allowed to like him."
"Just like me, please... I’ll be good to you..."
Qiao Zhen froze.
Qin Yichi continued to murmur in fragments, his tone lost and bewildered, like a child starving for a sense of security. "Don’t forget me, don’t... stay away from me..."
In an instant, Qiao Zhen’s eyes grew hot, and her heart melted into a puddle of tenderness. She pursed her lips, leaned down to kiss his forehead, and whispered, "You silly husband, I love you so much—how could I ever leave you?"
Whether it was the kiss or the words, Qin Yichi gradually relaxed. Qiao Zhen pecked his earlobe, lay on her side in his arms, and held him tightly as if he were a stuffed bear. Unconsciously, Qin Yichi hugged her back, his breathing evening out as if he had reclaimed his most precious treasure. Qiao Zhen buried her face in his chest, nuzzling against him.
Forget it, she thought. Let it be hot. She couldn't let Qin Yichi be sad—not even in his dreams.

Qiao Zhen’s schedule for the past month had been packed. She had to visit North America’s largest music festival, film music videos in various locations, return home to record music variety shows, and attend fashion galas. She was spinning like a top. Yet, she always sent messages to Qin Yichi, telling him where she was going, what delicious food she had eaten, or how beautiful a certain place was.
Qin Yichi always replied to every single message, ending each day with a "Goodnight, wifey." Looking at the WeChat logs, Qiao Zhen felt those emotionless texts come alive, sweet as honey. Even through the screen, it felt incredibly tender.
With his birthday approaching, she thought hard for a long time, scratching her head, unable to come up with a gift. She couldn't help but consult her "counselors" in a group chat:
[Girls, I feel like he’s been lacking security lately; he always wants to video call me. Plus, his birthday is coming up. What kind of gift should I get him?]
She had already given him rings, belts, clothes, watches... she had exhausted all the standard options and couldn't think of anything better.
Sheng Lulu: [Wait, the contrast is too strong! I never imagined someone like him could ever lack a sense of security.]
The cool, arrogant, world-weary "Devil King" of the racing circuit, who struck terror into his rivals, was actually a clingy "cuddle monster" behind closed doors? No one would believe it.
Chen Meixiang: [Hehe, I have a plan! It’s forever classic, forever cliché, but Brother Ma Ye will always love it and always be obsessed!]
Yun Yue: [Ohoho, I have a feeling what you’re suggesting isn't suitable for minors~]
After reading the messages, Qiao Zhen flushed and quickly closed the app. Honestly, the minds of these girls were just too indecent...

November 9th. The day before Qin Yichi’s birthday.
Qiao Zhen had finished her work and had a short break. She had told him she would come home to spend the day with him tomorrow. Qin Yichi finished replying to her message and took his pajamas to the bathroom.
As the shower ran, a bitter rain seemed to fall within his heart, soaking him through. Whenever the night grew quiet and he was left alone, those nightmares would strike like sharp blades, piercing him without mercy. Even his breath felt sour. It felt as if it had all truly happened. He felt pushed into a vortex, struggling in vain; even when he realized it was a dream, he could never wake up.
Coupled with Qiao Zhen flying abroad and being away from his side, he was constantly anxious, afraid that he wasn't doing enough, feeling that at any second, Qiao Zhen would run away and abandon him. He seemed to be poisoned. He was even more anxious and insecure than before they were married...
Qin Yichi turned off the shower, put on his pajamas, and opened the bathroom door.
In the next second, he was tackled in a full-body embrace. Qiao Zhen, who was supposed to be on a plane, had suddenly appeared before him, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist and looking up at him with a mischievous smile.
"Hehe, Surprise!"
Her eyes curved into crescents; in those beautiful pupils, there was only his reflection—only him.
Qin Yichi’s breath hitched, his heart hammering against his ribs. The person he had been longing for had suddenly appeared before him, and his brain struggled to catch up. The panic and insecurity of the past many days finally found an outlet, an antidote. Without a second thought, he carried Qiao Zhen into the bedroom, guided by instinct, pressed her against the wall, and leaned down to kiss her lips fiercely.
He was like someone who had been starving for a long, long time, greedily and crazily drinking in nourishment.
"Mmph..." Qiao Zhen felt as if her lips were being crushed, a faint whimper escaping her throat. She had wanted to say something, but Qin Yichi was so famished he wouldn't even let her finish, starting off with a wild, hungry kiss.
This time, Qin Yichi’s kiss was utterly out of control, his hand firmly locking the back of her head. The pressure was intense, as if he intended to swallow her whole. Outside, the night deepened; inside, the room was bathed in soft, dim light, thick with a romantic, intoxicating atmosphere.
Qiao Zhen leaned against the wall, forced to tilt her head back, welcoming his deep, surging passion and responding bit by bit. By her count, she hadn't been this intimate with Qin Yichi for almost a month. In other words, he had been sleeping alone, abstaining for a full month!
If he were to "eat" now, wouldn't it be terrifying? At this thought, Qiao Zhen trembled, her legs growing weak under the intensity of the kiss. She had to admit, even after so many kisses with him, she would still fall for him over and over again, surrendering time after time. She simply couldn't resist his onslaught.
Qiao Zhen struggled to breathe, instinctively hugging him tighter, trying to soothe him.
A long while later, Qin Yichi pulled away, leaning over to stare at her, his gaze scorching. "Wife, why did you come back early?"
They were so close that the scent of fresh grass lingering on him enveloped her, wrapped in masculine pheromones. Qiao Zhen clung to his neck. "Because I wanted to give you a surprise early~"
She had purposely told him to pick her up tomorrow noon, only to appear before him in the middle of the night and dive into his arms. The meeting happened sooner than expected, making it all the more thrilling, like a gift falling from the sky.
Qin Yichi swallowed hard, feeling aggrieved, his voice bewitching. "Baby, I missed you so much. Really, especially, especially much..."
Qiao Zhen paused, keenly sensing that today’s Qin Yichi was different from usual. He was even clingier, more dependent on her, like a large dog abandoned by its owner. She felt he was truly exhausted—emotionally exhausted.
Qiao Zhen looked up, cupping his face, and asked with concern, "Did you not sleep well these past few days?"
There were faint dark circles under his eyes, looking out of place on his arrogant, handsome face. Qin Yichi gave a muffled, "Mm," his eyes bloodshot, his voice low. "You weren't here. I couldn't sleep."
His tone was like that of someone being bullied or wronged—pitiful. But who could bully Qin Yichi?
Qiao Zhen poked his cheek, soothing him gently. "I have plenty of free time in the coming days. I’ll sleep with you every night. I missed you so, so much too..." Even daily video calls hadn't been enough; she had just wanted to hold him for real.
Qiao Zhen didn't know that whenever she coaxed someone, she was incredibly gentle; her sweet voice seemed to hide a magic that could wash away all unpleasantness. Qin Yichi’s mood inexplicably improved, and he pulled her tightly into his arms, wishing he could knead her into his very bones so they would never be apart again.

Qiao Zhen struggled for a moment, and after letting him hold her for a while, she whispered, "Let me go first. The things I prepared for you are still outside. I’ll go get them."
"...Oh." Qin Yichi finally let go, albeit reluctantly.
When Qiao Zhen returned, she stuffed a bouquet into his arms. It was a bunch of red and black gradient roses, like flames blooming in the dark of night, scorching and brilliant. On the card attached to the bouquet, Qiao Zhen had written in her own hand:
"Qin Yichi, I will love you forever, passionately and firmly!"
Qin Yichi held the flowers, lowering his eyes to stare at the golden text on the card, words failing him. A warm spring welled up from the bottom of his heart, flowing through his entire body, leaving him tingling.
"And I also made a birthday cake myself." Qiao Zhen lifted the cake box in her hand, a smile dancing in her beautiful eyes, her whole being radiating light. "We’ll eat it at midnight!"
She placed the box on the nightstand, having deliberately chosen a black gift box to hide the cake, waiting to reveal it at midnight.
For a moment, Qin Yichi felt as if he were being held in the palm of her hand, cherished. In truth, Qiao Zhen spoiled him just as much; she was always keenly aware of all his emotions, soothing him with such tenderness, as if her eyes held only him, leaving all the "good" in the world just for him.
Qin Yichi felt so sweet he could barely breathe. He pinched Qiao Zhen’s cheek and leaned in. "Little Zhenzhen, what should I do? I really want to kiss you to death right now."
He wanted to kiss her until she cried, refusing to let go no matter how much she begged.
Just then, Qiao Zhen lowered her head and took his hand, placing it on the belt of her brown coat. Her earlobes were burning red as she stuttered, "You... you can open your gift early now."
As the words left her lips, Qin Yichi seemed to guess what was coming; his gaze turned dark and profound. He gently untied her belt, and soon, the brown coat fell to the floor, revealing a breathtaking sight.
In an instant, Qin Yichi’s heart hammered. His beloved, the one he had been longing for, stood before him, her eyes shimmering, wearing only a pure white, transparent, thin veil. Her skin was as smooth as congealed fat, her waist soft and slender. She was like the first snowfall descending upon the world, so clean it contained not a single impurity. It looked as if a touch would make her melt.
Qin Yichi’s breath deepened; his gaze was firmly locked, unable to move, and his reason vanished instantly.
Qiao Zhen snuck a glance at him, immediately retracting her gaze, her cheeks burning. "This is... your birthday gift. Do you want it?"
She really couldn't think of anything else to give, and since Qin Yichi had been so insecure lately, she had no choice but to... follow the "bad" advice of her counselors. Besides, the effect of the maid outfit last time had been good, and this time was even bolder...
Qiao Zhen’s heart thumped; the little deer in her chest was about to break free. Whether in terms of emotions or physical needs, she couldn't let Qin Yichi be the only one taking the initiative; she had to take the lead, too.
In the next second, her waist was seized. The man’s hot breath overwhelmed her, his voice hoarse and bewitching, enunciating every word:
"I. Of. Course. Want. It."
Qin Yichi was on the verge of losing his mind, every cell in his body boiling and burning. Just as he was about to lean down and kiss her fiercely, Qiao Zhen covered his mouth with one hand.
As if suddenly remembering something, she hurriedly stopped him. "No, no, wait a second!"
"..." The "meat" served to his lips had flown away. Qin Yichi forcibly suppressed his desire, his gaze fixed on her. He didn't hide the blatant aggression in his eyes, his voice raspy. "What is it?"
Qiao Zhen crouched down, took a pair of fluffy, pure white rabbit ears from her coat pocket, and fastened them into her hair. A little white lop-eared rabbit.
In an instant, the predatory wildness overflowed from Qin Yichi’s phoenix eyes, and a raging fire surged in his gut. How could she be so cute?
He could no longer hold back. He reached out, pulled her into his arms, and leaned down to bite her.
Qiao Zhen’s ears were bright red. She pressed her hands against his chest, pushing him gently. "Mmph... Husband, wait a moment."
Qin Yichi gripped her waist, burying his face in her neck, the veins in his arms bulging. "I can't wait."
If he could endure this, was he even a man?
Qiao Zhen shook her head, wanting to cry but unable to. "It’s not over yet... I know you’re in a hurry, but don't be in a rush!"
Why was this man like this? After a month of "fasting," he had become like a zombie, with nothing on his mind but biting her...
Qiao Zhen finally managed to break free, crouched back down, and pulled something else from her pocket, her eyes sparkling. "Look! I prepared this for you~"
Qin Yichi looked down, narrowed his eyes, and his gaze sank instantly.
It was a pair of grey, fluffy wolf ears.
