Chapter 79: Three Rules Established
Chapter 079: The Three Rules
Listening to Chu Yun brag so flamboyantly, Ye Feng truly felt he was about to vomit. No one knew Chu Yun’s true character better than he did. Back in Thailand on a mission, there was a girl who tried to hold his hand—Chu Yun blushed so hard he was too embarrassed to respond, utterly disgracing the reputation of Chinese special forces.
But Ma Long saw things very differently now. Hearing Chu Yun speak as if he were an expert, Ma Long grinned eagerly and asked, “Brother Yun, are you really that capable? Are girls really that easy for you to handle?” If so, then he might really have a shot at someone as beautiful as Wu Xiaomei. She had a stunning figure, with all the right curves—enough to drive any man mad with desire.
Chu Yun, hearing Ma Long’s question, felt even more smug and proud. Seeing Ma Long looking at him with such admiration, Chu Yun’s confidence swelled. “Of course! Don’t you know who I am? Back in the army, I was like a magnet for beautiful women—countless beauties chased after me.”
“Wow, Brother Yun, you’re amazing!” Ma Long felt stars dancing before his eyes. My god, Brother Yun is truly something else—winning over women so easily is a rare talent. Although he himself often tried to charm women, the moment he revealed his background, they always lost interest.
“Naturally, right, Brother Feng?” Chu Yun turned to Ye Feng, forgetting for a moment how well Ye Feng knew the truth about him. But soon he remembered he’d only been boasting, and started feeling anxious, blinking continually at Ye Feng, who pretended not to notice.
“Yes, our Chu Yun was a legend in the army,” Ye Feng replied with a slight smile. Hearing this, Chu Yun was deeply grateful; Ye Feng truly understood him. He almost wanted to cry with gratitude—his parents gave him life, but Brother Feng truly knew him. Yet Ye Feng suddenly added, “Chu Yun once even nearly hooked up with a Thai ladyboy!”
“Pfft!” Ma Long spat out his drink. What the hell! He’d heard of ladyboys before—those were scary folks. Brother Yun really was something else, not just impressive, but with quite unique tastes. Only those with particularly bold preferences would ever get involved with a ladyboy.
Chu Yun’s face turned green at Ye Feng’s words. Damn it, that was the most embarrassing incident of his life. If anyone else had brought it up, he’d have beaten them soundly—but since it was Brother Feng, he could only blame himself for showing off and provoking him.
Back at the club, Ye Feng announced that they had successfully signed the contract. Everyone was overjoyed. Ye Feng then declared he would split the brothers into two teams: one led by Ma Long to remain at the club, and the other led by Chu Yun, who would undergo rigorous training to become the founding members of their future security company.
Everyone welcomed this arrangement, pledging to follow Brother Feng’s plan. For now, everyone would still work together; Ye Feng, anticipating future trouble from rivals, wanted the division to go unnoticed.
Ye Feng also announced that the club would open tonight, urging everyone to stay alert. Especially with Wu Tianlin in mind—although he’d been dealt with last time, he might still bear a grudge and cause trouble. Ye Feng reminded everyone to be vigilant.
“Brothers, I believe that even in business, we need our own principles. For the long-term development of our club, we should have clear rules everyone abides by. I propose we establish three agreements with our guests. What do you think?” Ye Feng smiled as he addressed the group.
“Good idea! We’ll follow your lead, big brother,” Zhang Wei replied cheerfully. He would never go against Ye Feng’s wishes. Ma Long, more composed now, asked, “Brother Feng, what exactly do you mean by three agreements?”
“Well, you see, most people coming here worry about safety. So our first rule: absolutely no fighting allowed in the club. Anyone who breaks this rule will be severely punished, no exceptions,” Ye Feng said with a smile. Some guests, after drinking too much, liked to cause trouble—this not only affected business, but also made guests feel unsafe.
“Definitely, we need that rule.” Everyone agreed. For guests, a safe environment was crucial, and most who came were seeking a particular lifestyle. Public places demanded safety above all, and Ye Feng’s proposal received unanimous support.
“Second rule: The club will treat everyone equally, regardless of status or wealth. Everyone who comes to Morning Dragon Club is an honored guest and must be treated the same—no discrimination,” Ye Feng continued. Too often, some guests tried to lord their background over others, sparking conflicts. This rule would ensure stability.
“Good idea,” everyone agreed. After all, most of them came from humble backgrounds and had painful memories of being excluded from certain places due to their status.
Seeing the unanimous approval, Ye Feng was pleased. Although he wasn’t experienced in managing a club, he was confident in building good relationships between the club and its guests. “Third, we should implement a membership system, dividing members into gold, silver, bronze, and ordinary categories based on spending level and ability, with an annual fee. Even if something unexpected happens in the future, our business will still have a steady income—this is very popular abroad.”
“Uh, Brother Feng, I don’t quite understand. How does having an annual fee guarantee income even if something goes wrong?” Ma Long scratched his head, unable to figure it out. If customers stopped coming, where would the money come from?
“Heh, the annual fee means that at the start of the year, members deposit money onto their cards. The amount determines their card type—gold, silver, and so on. That way, we receive income up front. If the member visits, we provide services; if not, we still keep the money,” Ye Feng explained with a smile. This system had its advantages, though it wasn’t without drawbacks.
