Chapter 113: The Four Great Pets (Part 2)
They were stunned, utterly bewildered! How could such an incredible Feng Shui sanctuary exist in this world?
They drew deep breaths, feeling as if every pore on their bodies was luxuriating in unparalleled comfort.
“Hmph!”
The Blood Demon Patriarch sneered with contempt. “You only just realized how thick the spiritual energy here is, so dense it cannot dissipate? Let me tell you, if you live with me from now on, the benefits you gain will far exceed your wildest imaginations.
“Enough chatter. I shall study you thoroughly and then transform you properly, elevating your strength to new heights.”
With that, the Blood Demon Patriarch brushed his arm, instantly dispelling the terrifying force that had imprisoned Hua Manlou and the three elders of the Baidan Holy Nation.
Hua Manlou and the three elders plummeted from the air.
“You four, don’t even think about escaping. You will never break free from my grasp.”
Dark, swirling demonic energy clung to the massive form of the Blood Demon Patriarch, his appearance utterly fearsome.
Hua Manlou and the three elders stared at each other in stunned silence, their hearts a tangle of complex emotions.
With the Baidan Holy Nation destroyed and now reduced to mere pets of the Blood Demon Patriarch, their hearts brimmed with hatred and frustration. Yet at the same time, they understood that becoming the pets of such a being was a rare stroke of fate.
The Blood Demon Patriarch hailed from the realm of the gods, and the Chen family behind him—father and daughter—were unfathomable. The sheer density of spiritual energy emanating from their secluded abode alone testified to their terrifying power, far beyond anything the four could have imagined.
“Spring Ancestor, show me your spring blossom,” the Blood Demon Patriarch commanded, beginning his analysis and transformation of them.
Spring Ancestor felt reluctant but had no choice.
“Spirit of spring, the genesis of all life, the source of vitality!” he shouted, his body stretching endlessly.
In the blink of an eye, he transformed into a colossal, ancient spring blossom. The boundless life force radiated from the tree, filling the air with a refreshing, uplifting aura.
Both the Chen family and the Blood Demon Patriarch were amazed.
“What a splendid source of life,” the Blood Demon Patriarch said with a smile. “Spring Ancestor, you are an excellent support. Your life force can temporarily enhance the vitality and combat power of your people. In future battles, your role will be to assist.”
“Understood!”
Spring Ancestor replied, reverting to human form.
The Blood Demon Patriarch then turned to Summer Ancestor. “Show me your summer blossom.”
Summer Ancestor nodded and bellowed, “The fierceness of summer, the strength of all beings, the apex of life!”
Countless blood-red summer blossoms burst forth, dazzling like the sun, with wild, overwhelming energy surging from each bloom.
“Impressive energy,” the Blood Demon Patriarch nodded approvingly. “This energy can serve both as support and offense. In battle, whether you attack or assist will be up to you, depending on the situation.”
Clearly, the Blood Demon Patriarch intended to forge them into a battle team, each playing to their greatest strengths.
It was evident this ancient demon possessed vast combat experience; what he had endured in the realm of the gods eons ago remained a mystery.
Next, he assigned roles to Autumn Ancestor and Hua Manlou.
“The waters of autumn, the sorrow of all beings, the fragility of life!”
Autumn Ancestor unleashed a mighty torrent of energy, shaping it into a golden sword dozens of meters long. It stood firm between heaven and earth, its fierce spirit rippling like an immense ocean.
The Autumn Water Sword seemed to embody the sorrow of countless lives, instilling an unstoppable sadness in the hearts of those nearby.
“Autumn Ancestor, you will be the main attacker in future battles.”
“Understood!” Autumn Ancestor nodded.
“Winter’s wither, the tribulation of all beings, the suffering of life!”
Hua Manlou shouted, and a tree of icy blossoms instantly bloomed, energy surging mightily.
“Hua Manlou, your elemental power weakens the enemy’s attack—undoubtedly the best form of defense,” the Blood Demon Patriarch said. “You will serve as the primary defender.”
“Understood!” Hua Manlou nodded.
Chen Changsheng stood silently to one side, deeply moved. Hua Manlou and the three elders of the Baidan Holy Nation had become the Blood Demon Patriarch’s pets—it was almost surreal.
“All right, that will do for now,” said the Blood Demon Patriarch, clearly invested in his new pets. “But I sense your true potential remains untapped. Spring, summer, autumn, winter—a perfect cycle. If you can one day create laws related to these aspects, it would be truly marvelous.”
Hua Manlou and the three elders exchanged glances, realizing clearly that being this ancient demon’s pets might indeed be an excellent fate.
Perhaps, in time, the Blood Demon Patriarch could truly forge them into peerless warriors.
“That’s enough for today. Return to my soul realm.”
The Blood Demon Patriarch extended his demonic hand, fingers curling.
Hua Manlou and the three elders instantly became four afterimages, vanishing into his fingertips.
“Old demon, congratulations on acquiring four fine pets,” Chen Changsheng said with a faint smile.
He naturally wished the Blood Demon Patriarch to grow ever stronger, for their own safety depended on it.
“Haha!” the Blood Demon Patriarch laughed excitedly. “Chen Gongzi, my four pets are nothing but trash to you.”
“I am merely a mortal, with no understanding of cultivation,” Chen Changsheng shook his head helplessly.
At leisure, a trace of resentment stirred within him. It was all the fault of that world system—if only it had allowed me to enter the realm earlier, I might have collected some pets myself. How delightful that would be.
Fortunately, he now had five golden flowers!
Those five golden flowers were far more formidable than Hua Manlou and the three elders of the Baidan Holy Nation.
Moreover, he already planned to train Donggong Qianxue and the others, these five golden flowers, into five charming chefs, so they could cook for him and his daughter, allowing them to live a life of leisure, merely opening their mouths for food and stretching out their hands for clothes.
That’s just how lazy I am—so what can you do about it?
