Chapter 33: The Final Whisper
The way things unfolded was exactly as Jiang Yun had expected.
When he finished clearing the top-side jungle and headed toward the enemy’s jungle, he hadn’t even crossed the river before the news came—top lane had been solo killed.
Then came the familiar string of question mark pings.

The player “How Can You Stop My Arrogance” typed: “Seriously, what are you doing? Why didn’t you come earlier? You were already at the river, couldn’t you have checked top lane?”
Jiang Yun, as always, ignored him.
He’d just finished F6 and top had already died—even if he could fly, he wouldn’t have made it in time. Besides, the top laner had died because he overextended, tanking two waves and fighting the enemy Riven head-on while she had Ignite. Who else but him would die in that situation?
Still, Jiang Yun didn’t mute the top laner. After all, he was good for the show—he’d be the highlight of Jiang Yun’s stream for the next half hour.
Viewers in the livestream saw the scene and started condemning Darius.
“Perfect, exactly what I expect from someone with this kind of username!”
“Everything the top laner says and does is so painfully predictable.”
“I bet this top laner dies at least ten times!”
“Not just ten, I’m feeling fifteen!”
“This is typical—bad but likes to show off. Thinks he needs to perform because there’s a girl watching, but his skills won’t allow it, so he just blames jungle. This game’s done for.”
“Yeah, it’s over. Top’s a feeder, mid I won’t comment on, so it’s basically 3v7 from the start.”
“.....”
Seeing the barrage of pessimistic comments, Jiang Yun smiled faintly. “Relax, brothers. I’ve played in Emerald rank for so many years—don’t you think I know how to win here?”
As he spoke, Jiang Yun found Kayn in the enemy’s top jungle, caught him while he was clearing camps, and after burning his Flash, took the first kill for his team.
After getting the kill, Jiang Yun kept farming the enemy’s top jungle and said, “In games like this, you can only rely on yourself if you want to win. That’s why I picked Graves—a champion with a high ceiling, especially in low-rank games like this. He can snowball and 1v5.”
Finishing off the enemy’s top jungle, Jiang Yun saw the enemy mid still laning. He went past the second tower, ignored the enemy mid completely, and entered the enemy’s bottom jungle.
But Jiang Yun didn’t keep counter-jungling; instead, he lay in wait in the brush next to the outer tower outside the base.
“The enemy definitely thinks I’m counter-jungling, but there’s only Krugs left in the lower jungle—nothing worth taking, and it’d just lure the enemy bot lane over. Better to ambush Kayn. He’s only level three, hasn’t transformed, no threat at all. He’s like a chicken.”
No sooner had Jiang Yun finished speaking than Kayn appeared right in front of him.
Jiang Yun initiated the ambush. Since neither had Flash, he chased Kayn down and killed him.
The enemy bot duo arrived just as Jiang Yun intended, and the kill went to their Blitzcrank.
Meanwhile, top lane sent more “good news”—Darius was solo killed again.
This time, there were no question mark pings. But Jiang Yun didn’t think he’d come to his senses. Most likely he was still in base, both junglers respawning, not sure where to direct his outrage.
With that, Jiang Yun headed to his own bottom jungle. After clearing it, he went straight to the bot lane’s outer tower.
“The enemy jungler has no camps left, and my top jungle’s empty too. His only play is to gank. Riven’s been pushing top, so his only options are mid or bot. Our mid is Veigar, who’s getting pushed in. His only route is to clear F6 and Krugs, then gank bot.”
No sooner had Jiang Yun finished than a fight broke out in the bot lane. Kayn appeared at the same time.
With Graves’ gold and damage advantage, Jiang Yun’s team scored a 3-for-0 in the fight, with Jiang Yun taking two of the kills.
Seeing the outcome, Jiang Yun’s lips curled in a faint smile. “Brothers, the game’s over.”
The chat erupted in praise for Jiang Yun’s game sense.
“The enemy Kayn is a complete toy!”
“Kayn’s CS is exactly as Yun predicted. Tsk, tsk. Will he even transform this game?”
“Uh-oh, Yun’s showing off again.”
“……”
While the chat was celebrating, top lane delivered another “good news”—Darius was solo killed yet again.
The familiar question marks appeared.

“How Can You Stop My Arrogance” typed: “Why are you always bot? Can you come top? If you gank once, I’ll stomp Riven!”
Jiang Yun glanced at his items, unable to hide his smile.
He knew it was time to take the entertainment to the next level.
He typed: “Always getting solo killed?”
“How Can You Stop My Arrogance” replied: “What’s your name?”
“If I hadn’t burned both summoners in the level one fight, you think I’d lose? You think I’d get snowballed? If you’d come to the level one fight, would this have happened?”
“You’re just wandering around the jungle, is that useful?”
“Do you think you can win without me?”
“If you win, I’ll ****.”
“People like you are just *****.”
“I ******.”
“I—”
“Damn—”
“Die—”
“You—”
“Are—”
“A—”
“*****—”
Jiang Yun had only typed one sentence, but the top laner shot back over a dozen lines, growing more and more incoherent, cursing non-stop, even resorting to typing single characters—clearly experienced in this kind of outburst.
Jiang Yun just shrugged in response to the tirade.
“Someone’s getting triggered, but I won’t say who.”
The viewers burst out laughing at Jiang Yun’s words.
“Haha, this kind of guy is the funniest.”
“Seriously, can’t win lane and just loses it for no reason.”
“Honestly, his typing speed is impressive—almost as fast as how quickly he tilts.”
“You’re absolutely right, but that’s League of Legends!”
“Exactly, this is what us top lane players are like (sarcasm).”
“……”
Jiang Yun kept up the banter with his viewers, sharing the top laner’s meltdown, while slaughtering the enemy Kayn and bot lane with Graves’ snowballing power.
Every so often, he’d provoke the top laner again. For example, after killing an enemy, he’d ping top and type: “Can you stop feeding?”
Or after winning a small skirmish, he’d ask: “What’s the point of you? Why did you even queue up?”
Each time Jiang Yun taunted him, Darius would stand under tower, furiously typing.
And every time, Riven would seize the opportunity and solo kill him again.
Every time Darius died, Jiang Yun would ping him a few times and say nothing.
But even with the silent treatment, Darius just kept tilting, typing faster and faster.
Jiang Yun even zoomed in to show the viewers the spectacle.
Finally, as Jiang Yun was about to take down the enemy base, he typed to the Veigar, who had been mostly invisible all game:
“Want to queue up again next game?”
Princess Qianqian: “Sure.”
That simple response, like a final sigh, silenced the top laner who had been furiously typing the whole time.
[How Can You Stop My Arrogance has left the game]
The stream’s fans cheered: “A song for the crying dancer—please follow the stream!”
