Chapter 5: The Sickly Tycoon vs. The Scheming Gold Digger—A Complete Overwhelming Victory!
The Maybach screeched to a halt at the entrance of the dormitory area, not giving the crowd a chance to marvel at how such a luxury car could appear in this place.
Click, click, click!
Two women, each in a crisp black suit with a high ponytail, stepped out from the driver’s and passenger’s seats. They approached the rear of the car with practiced grace and respectfully opened the back door.
A slender, elegant leg extended from within, touching the ground lightly, followed by a stunning figure dressed in vibrant crimson.
A collective gasp rippled through the students and passersby. Some even forgot to breathe.
The woman before them was breathtaking—a face of unparalleled beauty paired with an aura of cold nobility. Even without makeup, her natural looks outshone the most meticulously adorned women, calling to mind a celestial being descended to earth.
Her fiery red gown, matched with slender black heels, was clearly an evening dress, yet on her it resembled a suit of battle armor, exuding a murderous strength.
Each step she took was not seductive but brimming with a sense of danger. Instinctively, those around her stepped back, parting to make way for her, unable to meet her gaze and bowing their heads.
It was as if a blood-clad general was inspecting her troops, none daring to harbor a thought of resistance.
And the only one in her path was Chen Luo.
Standing not far from him, Tang Xiwei felt utterly frozen. It wasn’t just Wen Wan’s commanding presence; it was the inferiority that surged within her heart upon seeing this woman.
This woman was from a world entirely different from her own.
Ordinary people and genuine aristocrats were as far apart as earth and sky.
Her trained eye could tell that Wen Wan’s red evening dress was a custom piece from a world-renowned brand—she’d seen it in fashion magazines. Only thirty existed in the world, each costing at least six figures.
Yet on Wen Wan, the dress did not seem ostentatious; it blended so seamlessly that one forgot its price.
“Who... who is she?” Tang Xiwei instinctively turned to her roommate, Lin Tingting, but found her equally stupefied, not even hearing her question.
“Is she going to see Chen Luo?”
Watching Wen Wan approach Chen Luo, Tang Xiwei felt a mounting sense of crisis.
Her looks were among the finest at university, and though her family background was ordinary, excellent men constantly vied for her attention, making her feel like the center of the universe.
Once, Chen Luo had been one of those stars orbiting her.
But now, a woman who surpassed her in both beauty and status seemed to be coming for Chen Luo—something Tang Xiwei could not accept.
He might not be the one she wanted, but no one else was allowed to take him.
“Chen—” She was about to call out, but Wen Wan was already before Chen Luo.
Chen Luo himself was stunned. Why had this wild woman appeared again? Was she going to kidnap him in broad daylight once more?
“Wen Wan, what are you—” Before he could finish, Wen Wan approached with a smile, linking her arm through his.
“Chen Luo, it’s time. We should go.”
Chen Luo wanted to resist, but when he met Wen Wan’s icy gaze—a look that promised consequences if he dared—he gave in. Fine, he thought, let’s see what she’s up to.
She led him into the back seat of the Maybach, and with countless eyes upon them, the car sped away.
As soon as the Maybach disappeared, the world seemed to explode with noise.
“Damn! Was that a celebrity? That face is unreal!”
“Shallow! That figure is perfection—her legs are longer than my life!”
“You’re the shallow one. That’s a Maybach! Clearly a top-tier heiress!”
“That guy—wasn’t he the rumored boy-toy kept by a wealthy woman?”
“If someone like her wanted to spoil me, I’d eat delicacies every day and be happy!”
“But wait, didn’t he just confess to the new beauty from the finance department? How did he end up with a rich woman? Could it be...?”
Instinctively, many eyes turned toward Tang Xiwei, gossip burning in their hearts.
Tang Xiwei felt as though needles were pricking her back. Aggrieved to the point of tears, she turned and ran toward her dorm.
...
Chen Luo was unaware that, in everyone’s eyes, he’d now become a kept man.
Even if he knew, he’d hardly have time to care, for his current predicament was far more pressing.
The moment Wen Wan entered the car, she swung herself onto his lap. One hand pinned his wrists to the seat.
With the sudden movement, her dress tightened, accentuating her wild and captivating curves.
Chen Luo, caught off-guard, instinctively looked to the front seats for help.
But the female driver glanced into the mirror, pressed a button by her left hand, and a partition slowly rose, separating the front from the back.
What was this partition for? How could those two be so calm and efficient? Was this car custom-built for such... activities?
“Chen Luo, didn’t you say you no longer liked Tang Xiwei?”
At that, Chen Luo met the steely glint in Wen Wan’s eyes.
Even a fool would realize what had angered her.
He’d told her he didn’t like Tang Xiwei, yet today he’d met with her anyway. In Wen Wan’s eyes, that was a lie.
But he was innocent! She had come to him!
“It’s not—she...” Before he could explain, his words were stifled.
By Wen Wan’s lips.
Her kiss was fierce, her teeth tugging at his lower lip, her tongue invading and entangling with his—leaving him breathless and dizzy.
His body grew warmer, his mind clouded, and desire stirred within him.
Wen Wan’s other hand slid to his belt, slowly working at the buckle.
“Chen Luo, is this what you want?”
