The flash of vulnerability and panic that subconsciously crossed Han Jiangxue’s face made Su Chen’s heart race. Swallowing hard, he could no longer hold back and lunged onto her.

They were pressed tightly together, their two burning bodies separated only by a thin layer of clothing. Su Chen could feel the softness of her body and the curves that would make any man’s blood boil, even through the fabric.

Their faces were less than two centimeters apart. Su Chen’s hot breath hit Han Jiangxue’s face, causing her skin to turn visibly flushed and scorching.

"Su... Su Chen... what... what are you doing?"

Han Jiangxue was truly panicking now, her voice stuttering. Su Chen’s lips curled into a smirk as he leaned toward her ear and whispered, "I’m doing what I want."

Han Jiangxue froze for a second, then shuddered. The sensation of his warm breath against her ear left her feeling weak and numb, instantly stripping away her ability to resist.

It was over. Su Chen had lost his mind!

Han Jiangxue felt a tinge of fear—not of what Su Chen might do, but because he hadn't even confessed his feelings yet. Everything was moving way too fast! Besides, she was still... She’d heard that the first time was supposed to be painful.

Even as she thought this, she couldn't muster the strength to push him away. She could only let Su Chen’s hand reach toward her, and then, Han Jiangxue closed her eyes.

However, after a long wait, she felt nothing. When she opened her eyes, she saw Su Chen staring at her with a playful smile.

"Why... why are you looking at me like that?" she asked, blushing.

"I’m not looking at you; I’m looking at a little pervert who has the heart for mischief but lacks the courage to follow through," Su Chen said. "A girl who talks big and 'drives fast' in front of me all day—turns out it was all just theory, huh?"

Seeing Su Chen’s mocking grin, Han Jiangxue’s anger quickly overcame her shyness. She glared at him from the bed.

"Who... who said I was afraid!"

As Su Chen made a move to tease her further, Han Jiangxue shrieked and covered her eyes, terrified to look! Seeing her reaction, Su Chen burst into laughter and decided not to push it any further.

It wasn't the time yet.

Su Chen climbed off the bed. Seeing that he had stopped and stood up, Han Jiangxue cautiously sat up as well. She watched as Su Chen moved to his computer desk and began searching for the sentencing standards for the crime of defamation and how to proceed with a case.
