Chapter 35: I Must Say, Roselle Still Has a Certain Charm

Klein felt his cerebellum shrink for a moment.
Unsure, he took another look.
"Roselle tastes truly wonderful."
Klein gasped, contributing his own share to global warming. He felt his brain trembling, certain that his face must have twisted into a knot.
If not for the cover of the gray fog, Klein would have surely given himself away.
"No, no, no. I can’t be biased. What if this second transmigrator predecessor was a woman? If that were the case, it wouldn't be quite so heaven-defying, right?"
Klein quickly shook off his shock and continued reading the diary in his hands.
"April 6th, I obtained the Witch card from the Blasphemy Cards. Using the ability of imaginary manifestation, I conjured a version of Roselle dressed as a witch."
Klein felt the classic brainstorm background music from his past life start playing in his head.
"But you didn't have to cut me off. Make out like it never happened..."
"April 7th, I discovered that Witch Roselle is simply both cute and domineering; she can even turn into a little 'trap.' It’s fantastic!"
At this moment, Caelrus’s consciousness also extended beside Klein, accompanying him as he read his own world-shaking masterpiece.
[It was very difficult, but I did it.]
"Human nature," Caelrus affirmed to the Husky in his heart.
[It’s actually very hard to pull off in a real fight.]
"On the contrary." Caelrus’s 'XP' had already ascended to a new height.

[In reality, it’s not.]
"April 10th, I plan to go find the Mother card among the Blasphemy Cards. Hehehehe, I think that married woman Roselle still has plenty of charm left."
"April 12th, I discovered that there is a major problem with the Mother card; it seems I need to be a bit more careful. But so what? A hero cannot retreat in the face of battle."
"April 21st, I finally found it. Good, I’m going in."
The diary ended there. These five short paragraphs had traumatized Klein’s brain over and over again.
This... is this right? This isn't right, is it?
However, Klein quickly skipped over the trivial details and found the crux of the problem.
Why could Mr. Demon always find transmigrator diaries that didn't belong to Roselle, when no one else could? Could it be that Mr. Demon is also a transmigrator, and he wrote these himself? Klein planned to perform a divination after the Tarot Club concluded.
He dispersed the diary in his hands.
"Sorry to keep you waiting."
"It is our honor." Alger lowered his posture significantly.
As they reached the free discussion segment, Audrey asked Caelrus curiously: "Mr. Demon, I’ve noticed that the language you use never seems to be Loenese or any other language I know, yet I can always understand it. Is this some kind of Beyonder ability?"
"You noticed already? I thought you would only realize it after fully digesting the Spectator potion." Caelrus stroked his chin, praising Audrey’s powers of observation.
To prevent Klein from noticing anything amiss, Caelrus had been speaking in Xianzhou language ever since he arrived. It was the common tongue of the Xianzhou Alliance.
"Hmm?" Alger frowned and made a questioning sound.
Ah? Klein remained motionless, as if he had noticed long ago, but his heart was far from calm.

Klein and Alger both began to recall carefully. It was true that the language Caelrus spoke didn't seem to be one they were familiar with, but because they could truly understand it, they had subconsciously translated what Caelrus said into the Loenese they knew in their minds.
Caelrus nodded slightly: "Actually, it’s quite simple. We have a type of... Beyonder item called a Synesthesia Beacon, which can easily resolve language barriers."
Through the fog that could not hide his gaze, he saw Audrey’s eyes suddenly light up. He added: "It only allows others to understand what you say and allows you to understand what others say. It cannot help you turn your spoken words into a Beyonder language."
"Oh," Audrey felt a little disappointed, but her tone quickly turned light again. "That is still very impressive."
Following this, she asked about the Psychology Alchemists and where one might find them.
Alger reminded Audrey not to be overly ambitious, saying that honestly digesting her potion was what she should be doing.
When Audrey wondered how long it would take to fully digest it, Klein immediately found an opportunity to act profound, stating that it would take one to six months, and that one would naturally know once it was digested.
[At this point, one can't help but mention a certain 'three years to True God, five years to Outer Deity.']
Then, Audrey asked if she could recommend others to join the Tarot Club, which made the old fox nervous, thinking Audrey wanted to expand her sphere of influence.
Once Audrey had no more questions, Alger shared intelligence regarding the True Creator.
As the beacon of fate, Klein stated the essence of the deity with almost no information at all: "The Fallen Creator."
This tone of equality caused Alger and Audrey to let their imaginations run wild.
In the end, they reached a conclusion: Mr. Fool is very likely a True God, an ancient existence currently in the process of awakening.
