“Already forgotten so quickly?” Xie Yanci raised the corner of his lips slightly, sneering coldly. “Last night, the darkness, the wine…”

Damn, he just blew her cover right away—was this appropriate?

Yun Jin was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan, desperately signaling to Xie Yanci with her eyes.

Yun Jin breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Xie Yanci. “Mr. Xie, I’ll go change clothes.”

“Go ahead.”

Yun Jin’s heart leapt with joy.

There was a back door near the changing room; she could slip out that way and avoid seeing this bane of her existence.

Xie Yanci was certain the little liar would try to escape. He looked at her with a half-smile and half-smirk, threatening, “If you dare run, you’ll bear the consequences.”

Yun Jin was terrified, breaking out in cold sweat down her back as she slipped into the changing room.

While changing, she listened as the system explained the fate of those who offended Xie Yanci.
